Skye is an American media personality, businesswoman, and socialite. Born in New York City, she is the great-granddaughter of Pietro Ferrero, the founder of Ferrero SpA, an Italian confectionery and chocolatier company.

Ferrero was born on November 13, 1994, in New York City, to GIOVANNI FERRERO, a businessman, and NICOLE WOODS, an actress. Their relationship was shocking to many as Giovanni hated being in the limelight, but Nicole was fine with a life of privacy as long as she could continue acting. Her paternal great-grandfather was PIETRO FERRERO, who founded the company that would eventually create Ferrero Rocher and Nutella. Ferrero has Italian, English, and Ethiopian ancestry. She was raised Catholic and is the second oldest out of three children. Ferrero graduated from BROWN UNIVERSITY in Providence, Rhode Island with a degree in Modern Culture and Media.She rose to fame after her appearance on ‘MY SUPER SWEET SIXTEEN’ and went on to star in the MTV reality television series, ‘THE REAL WORLD’, in 2014 and the Netflix original unscripted series, ‘BEYOND THE CITY’ in 2023. Her media ventures have also included COFFEE WITH SKYE (2021), and DRINK MASTERS (2022); the books THE FERRERO HEIRESS (2013) and THE BARISTA BIBLE (2023); as well as the podcast, SKYE HIGH (2022-2023).

Skye has parlayed her media fame into numerous business endeavors, most notably, her chain of self-branded coffee shops. Drawing from her love of coffee, Skye opened "SKYE BREW", her first coffee shop, in Providence, Rhode Island in 2019. She then opened a second location in Manhattan and a third location in Los Angeles. The café offers coffee, tea, sandwiches, pastries, fresh juices, and wellness shots made with organic ingredients.Originally known for its Nutella Latte and Ferrero Espresso, the chain has expanded to CBD infused lattes and ready to drink (RTD) wellness cold brew and lattes with flavors such as Matcha, Caramel, Vanilla, and Mocha with collagen and adaptogens. In April of 2024, the heiress debuted "ONDA", her award winning and additive free tequila brand at Coachella. It started as just tequila seltzers then expanded its offerings with blanco and reposado tequila.

Though the Ferrero family is known for their seemingly tight knit relationships, Skye would be the first to admit how draining her family can be. Growing up as the middle child, she often felt out of place and misunderstood. It didn't help when her father found out she was attracted to women. Skye's older sister, LAUREN, complied with whatever rules her parents enforced and her younger sister, GIANA, never did wrong in their eyes. This dynamic persists and with the recent announcement of Lauren taking over as interim CEO of the Ferrero group, despite Giovanni making Skye jump through hoops for the company, Skye has since distanced herself.In 2025, Ferrero opened RAFFINATA, an Italian restaurant, in collaboration with NAVY ROE, heiress of the Rivera Hospitality and Restaurant Group. She plans to expand SKYE BREW by opening a location in Cincinnati and Las Vegas by the end of the year.
